I was honored to be asked to walk in the annual Bert’s Big Adventure charity fashion show – Avalon Noon To Night! As magical as the event was, the best part was getting to be a part of raising tens of thousands of dollars for Bert’s Big Adventure. I’ve personally supported Bert’s Big Adventure for nearly ten years and it was a “pinch me moment” to get to spend time with the families and kids that the organization uplifts. The best part was definitely the silent disco dance party where we danced the night away with the models, kids, and friends! Oh, and the nearly $70,000 raised for Bert’s Big Adventure!

It’s very hard to fathom the challenges that families with children who are suffering from illness must face. Day-to-day things that we all take for granted are exponentially more challenging. I was so inspired by the positivity and strength that these kids (and their families) have. Huge kuddos to Bert’s Big Adventure for all that they do to pump love, joy, and fun into the lives of these families who need it so much.

“Berts Big Adventure eases the burden on families caused by caring for a child with a terminal or chronic illness. Whether through the annual, 5-day, all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World, their Fairy Godparent Volunteer Program, or their Reunion Adventures; Bert’s Big Adventure aims to improve the lives of the deserving children and families they serve by providing VIP magical moments”

Big thanks to my friends and family who came out to support this amazing cause (and watch 4’11 me walk on a runway). Met some awesome new friends – Lauren Chamblin (LC) from Love is Blind, Bert’s fiance – Tiffany Danielle, and fitness pro Maddie Gray!
