HELLO OCTOBER
It feels like the year has flown by! I can’t believe we’re in October already. Before we dive deep into the holiday baking season.. I thought I’d take a quick moment to just express my gratitude for every single one of you.
When I first began my little mission of sharing my vegan & gluten free recipes … My goal was to help people. Going vegan, gluten free, or both can be a hard transition for many fellow foodies like myself. Whether it’s for health reasons, to impact our planet, or because you love animals … it’s an adjustment. At first, you may feel like you have to give up all the yummy food you love. My goal was to help you and the ones you love enjoy easy vegan and gluten free recipes and taste like the real deal.
Over the past two years since I started Peanut Butter and Jilly, I’ve heard stories of your loved ones being put on a plant-based diet due to ? chronic or terminal illness and you’ve told me my banana pancake recipe brought joy during a tough time. I’ve seen photos of your kiddos enjoying gluten free donuts for the first time EVER. I’ve received photos of birthdays, holidays, and celebrations that you’ve made my recipes for.
I’m honored. Truly so honored. And so thankful. Thankful that God has allowed me to use my life to help some people. Thankful for the friendships that have formed because of it. Thankful for everyone’s support of my blog, my book(s), and all of your kind and encouraging words. Many of you know my story … and if so then you know I’ve come a long way. And you should also know I quite literally couldn’t have come this far without you.
So, let’s kick off baking season with gratitude!!! Let’s spread as much love and joy together as we can! I hope my recipes make it into your homes and hearts this season, and inspire you to bake beautiful memories. #bringonthepumpkin
