These vegan breadsticks are buttery, golden, soft, and fluffy! They are as easy to make as they are delicious! These vegan breadsticks make the perfect side to any of my vegan soup or salad recipes!

Vegan Yeast Breadsticks
Vegan and Gluten Free - No Yeast Breadsticks
For Vegan Yeast Breadsticks (preferred)

In a large mixing bowl, mix the warm almond milk, melted vegan butter, and salt. If making gluten free breadsticks, add the baking powder. Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the mixture and stir gently 2 or 3 times. Set for 5 minutes. If making gluten free breadsticks, add the apple cider vinegar. Otherwise, proceed to next step. Stir in the flour until a dough forms. Leave the dough in the bowl and cover with a towel. Allow the dough to rise for 45 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400. Once the dough has risen, separate it into about 12 pieces and then use your hands to roll them into breadsticks about 1 ½ inches thick. Place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until golden.

Preheat the oven to 350

Mix the almond milk, melted vegan butter or olive oil, and baking powder together. Then, mix the flour until a thick dough forms. Form the dough into a mound and place it onto a floured surface.

Use your hands to separate the dough into about 12 pieces and the roll them into breadsticks about 1 ½ inches thick. Place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until golden.

Optional Garlic Butter Topping

Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with salt and garlic powder. Broil for 1 minute in the oven.
