These banana muffins are a chocolate lovers breakfast dream come true! They only take 30 minutes and are so moist and fluffy!

Optional Icing

Preheat oven to 375 and prep your flax egg by mixing 2 tbsp of flaxseed meal with 4 tbsp of warm water. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas, add maple syrup, almond milk, vegan butter, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix until combined.

Mix in flax egg and cocoa powder until smooth. Finally, add in flour and mix just until combined. Pour batter into 12 muffin cups.

Bake for 20 minutes & enjoy! Mix together optional icing and drizzle over muffins. Icing is not factored into nutritional content.
