1

Prepare the pizza crust by first microwaving the almond milk in a large mixing bowl for about 45 seconds until it’s luke warm, not hot. Whisk in the melted vegan butter and salt. Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the top of the mixture and stir just a few times. Let it set for 10 minutes.

2

After 10 minutes, mix in your flour until a thick dough forms. Use your hands to form the dough into a mound. Be careful not to over work the dough or it will become tough.

3

Leave the dough in the bowl and cover it with a kitchen towel. Allow the dough to rise for about 45 minutes. To help it rise faster, you can set the bowl on top of a 350ºF preheated oven.

4

Once the dough has risen and doubled in size, preheat the oven to 350ºF if you haven’t already. Then, roll the dough into a circle shape onto a floured surface until it’s about 1/3 inch (8 mm) thick. Sprinkle more flour on the dough if it’s too stick to roll. Place the crust on a baking sheet and bake it in the oven for 12 minutes.

5

Remove the crust from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 400ºF. Spread the your toppings of choice on the crust and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes.
