Ingredients
  

Quick Focaccia Bread

  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ cup melted vegan butter or olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 ¼ cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour If gluten-free, I recommend King Arthur Measure for Measure gluten-free flour. Please don't substitute any other flour such as almond flour, baking flour, etc.

Topping

  • 2 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning, use more to taste
  • 2 tablespoon melted vegan butter or olive oil

Homemade Everything Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes + more to taste

Instructions
 

Quick Everything Bagel Focaccia Bread

  • Preheat the oven to 400
  • Mix the warm water, ¼ cup of melted vegan butter or olive oil, and baking powder, together. Option to add a little salt and maple syrup to the dough. Add the flour and mix until a thick dough forms. Transfer the dough into a 8-10 inch round ceramic baking dish that has been greased with oil or nonstick spray.
  • Once the dough is evenly distributed in the dish, drizzle with about 2 tablespoon melted vegan butter or olive oil and use your fingertips to gently press down into the dough to create dimples. Sprinkle the top with everything bagel seasoning and bake in the oven for 15-17 minutes. Option to broil for 1 minute at the end to give the bread more golden color.
  • Drizzle with additional melted vegan butter (about 2 tbsp) or olive oil and enjoy!
