You need 4 ingredients and 30 minutes to make these perfectly golden and crisp chickpeas. Chickpeas (otherwise known as garbanzo beans) are one of my favorite plant-based proteins to add to any dish or to snack on in-between meals.
Preheat the oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rinse and drain one can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) and spread them onto a baking sheet. Drizzle them with olive oil and use your hands to roll the chickpeas in the oil so that they are evenly coated.
Season the chickpeas with salt and pepper (to taste) and the bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until they are golden browned. Remove from the baking sheet and enjoy as a snack or as a topping on your favorite plant-based dish!
