30-Minute Vegan Gluten-Free Cheese Pizza

Craving cheese pizza that is vegan and gluten free? This 30 minute cheese pizza recipe is as easy to make as it is delicious! I used King Arthur Measure for Measure Gluten Free flour to make this vegan gluten free pizza crust. You may also use regular all-purpose flour to make regular vegan pizza crust. Top with your favorite pizza toppings like regular or vegan cheese and enjoy in minutes!

Ingredients
  

Vegan Gluten-Free Pizza Crust

  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • ¼ cup melted vegan butter or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon italian seasonings
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour If gluten-free, I recommend King Arthur Measure for Measure gluten-free flour. Please don't substitute any other flour such as almond flour, baking flour, etc.

Vegan Cheese Pizza

  • 1 ½ cup shredded vegan cheese
  • melted vegan butter or olive oil
  • 1 cup store-bought pizza sauce

Instructions
 

30-Minute Vegan Gluten-Free Cheese Pizza

  • Preheat the oven to 400
  • Mix the lukewarm water, olive oil or melted vegan butter, maple syrup, baking powder, garlic powder, italian spices, and salt together. Then, add the flour and mix until a thick dough forms. Using your hands, form the dough into a round mound.
  • Transfer the dough onto a sheet of parchment paper and roll it into a ⅓ inch thick slab. Slide the parchment paper and dough onto a pizza pan and brush the edges of the dough with melted vegan butter or olive oil. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, spread your pizza sauce onto the crust (leaving about an inch of room around the edges) and then sprinkle with vegan cheese. Drizzle with melted vegan butter or olive oil. Or, spray with avocado or olive oil spray. Doing this helps the vegan cheese melt better. Broil for 2-4 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the edges of the crust are golden. Watch during the broil to ensure the pizza doesn't burn. Slice into 10-12 slices and enjoy!
