Crumb Cake Donut Batter Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk regular milk will work if not vegan
  • ½ cup melted vegan butter regular butter will work if not vegan
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups regular or gluten-free all purpose flour

Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon softened vegan butter regular butter is ok if not vegan
  • 2 oz vegan cream cheese regular cream cheese is ok if not vegan
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar

How To Make Crumb Cake Donuts

  • Preheat the oven to 350. Grease 16 donut molds with non-stick spray.
  • In a small mixing bowl, prepare the streusel topping by adding the melted vegan butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon together and mixing until a crumble forms. Set aside.
  • Mix the almond milk, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, vanilla, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the flour and mix until combined. Don't over-mix.
  • Transfer the batter into the greased donut molds, filling each one about ⅔ full. Then, top with the crumble. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove the crumb donuts from the oven. Allow them to cool before carefully lifting them out of their molds. Serve warm or cool. They taste great with a little cream cheese frosting drizzled on top.
