Ingredients
  

Peanut Sauce

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup coconut aminos or low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoon agave
  • 2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha add less for less spicy
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice

Lettuce Wraps

  • 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
  • ¼ cup cashew pieces
  • large leaves of lettuce We use romaine
  • sesame seeds for serving
  • sliced green onions for serving
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How to Make Easy Peanut Sauce Lettuce Wraps

  • To begin, make your peanut sauce by mixing the peanut butter, ketchup, soy sauce, water, chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl or jar. Set aside.
  • Bring a large skillet with olive oil to medium heat. Add the diced onions and cook for 2 minutes, stirring, until softened and fragrant. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add your ground chicken or turkey and cook completely.
  • Turn the heat off and add the peanut sauce to the skillet. Mix until all of the meat is coated well. Mix in your cashews.
  • Serve a scoop wrapped lettuce, topped with sesame seeds and green onions.
