  • 3 overripe mashed bananas
  • cup melted regular or vegan butter
  • 1 cup regular or non-dairy milk we like oat milk or almond milk
  • 1 cup organic cane sugar any sugar will work
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups regular or gluten-free all purpose flour
  • cup colorful birthday cake sprinkles

Frosting Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon melted regular or vegan butter
  • 2 oz softened vegan cream cheese
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • regular or non-dairy milk for thinning (if needed)

Birthday Cake Banana Bread Recipe Instructions

  • Begin by preheating the oven to 375. Grease your metal loaf pan with non-stick spray.
  • In a large bowl, use a fork to mash the overripe bananas. Once the bananas are mashed, add the melted butter, milk, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla to the bowl and mix well. Add the flour and mix until a lumpy but well-combined banana bread cake batter is formed. Fold in the birthday sprinkles.
  • Transfer the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes or until the birthday cake banana bread is completely cooked through the center.
