Ingredients
  

Gingerbread Donut Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cup milk almond, oat, or regular dairy milk work best
  • ¼ cup melted butter regular or vegan
  • ½ cup molasses or maple syrup
  • ½ cup cane sugar, brown sugar, or coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger spice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg spice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups regular or gluten-free all purpose flour

Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients

  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 oz cream cheese regular or vegan
  • 2 tablespoon soft or melted butter regular or vegan

Gingerbread Donut Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350. Spray your silicone donut molds with non-stick baking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the milk, butter, maple syrup or molasses, sugar, vanilla, spices, baking powder, and baking soda together. Then, add the flour and mix until a batter is formed.
  • Use a spoon to transfer the batter into the silicone donut molds, filling each mold about ⅔ of the way full.
  • Bake the donuts in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove and allow them to cool. While the donuts bake, make the cream cheese frosting by mixing the powdered sugar, soft butter, and cream cheese together. Once the donuts have cooled, frost them and enjoy!
