Instructions

How To Make Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls

  • Prepare the vegan cinnamon roll dough by mixing the warm milk, melted butter, maple syrup, and salt. Sprinkle the active dry yeast evenly across the top of the mixture, stir gently, and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Add the all-purpose flour and mix until a dough forms. Leaving the dough in the bowl, form it into a round mound and cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel. Allow it to sit for an hour in a warm place in your home. Expect the dough to nearly double in size.
  • While you wait for your dough to rise, prepare the peach cobbler cinnamon roll filling. Mix your brown sugar, soft butter, and cinnamon together until a thick filling is formed.
  • After the dough has risen for an hour place it on a floured surface and roll it into a ¼ inch oval or rectangle (add more flour if the dough is too sticky to roll). Spread your peach cobbler filling evenly over the dough and then distribute the peaches. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 8-10 long strips. Carefully roll the dough and place each pinwheel into your greased baking dish. Cover and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350.
  • After they have risen and nearly doubled in size, bake the rolls in the oven for about 35 minutes.
  • While the rolls are baking, make the icing by using an electric hand mixer to mix together the softened butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese, and vanilla. Allow the rolls to cool and spread the icing over the rolls. Enjoy!

Notes

These are best right after baking, when fresh and warm. However, leftover rolls will keep for 1-2 days, covered at room temp. To keep them fresh longer, store them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Simply reheat in the microwave to get them soft and gooey again!
