Warm, fluffy, and bursting with fall flavor — this easy Sweet Potato Banana Bread combines mashed bananas, creamy sweet potato puree, and a buttery cinnamon swirl for the ultimate comfort bake.
Begin by preheating your oven to 375. Grease your loaf pan with non stick spray or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix your mashed bananas, sweet potato, maple syrup, butter, milk, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda together. Add a pinch of salt.
Add your oats and flour and mix until the batter is well combined. Pour half of your batter into the loaf pan. Top with cinnamon and brown sugar or coconut sugar. Pour the remaining batter on top. Use a fork or spoon to create swirls (just a few) in the batter.
Bake the loaf in the oven for 50 minutes or until you can stick a fork into the center and it comes out clean. While it bakes, make your frosting by whisking the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together. Then allow your loaf to cool before drizzling the frosting on top. Enjoy!
