3 Ingredient Homemade Potato Chips
These 3 ingredient homemade potato chips are almost too good to be true! They're a perfect adult and kid-friendly vegan and gluten free snack that everyone will love will love!
Ingredients
- 4 Russet Potatoes
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Optional Southwest Spices
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Homemade Guacamole
- 1 avocado
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- ¼ cup diced onion
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 Degrees. Slice potatoes as thin as you can get them (about ⅛th of an inch). Toss them in olive oil. Mix your spices together if you will be seasoning the chips with southwestern spices.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, and spray with olive oil spray. You can also use a wire baking rack! Lay the potatoes onto the baking sheet and spray with oil. Season with salt or southwest spices. Bake for 30 minutes or until desired crispiness!
- While the chips are baking, mash your avocado with lime juice and then mix with onion, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Option to top with cilantro. Store in the fridge until the chips are ready to serve.
