Sugar Cookie Banana Bread Recipe

  • Preheat the oven to 375. Grease a 9x5 inch metal loaf pan with non-stick baking spray or butter. You may also line it with parchment paper before greasing.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the overripe bananas with a fork. Pour in the milk, butter, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, and salt. Mix with the fork until well combined. Add the flour and mix until a thick batter forms.
  • Transfer the batter into the greased loaf pan using a silicone spatula. Bake the moist banana bread in the oven for 45-55 minutes or until it has completely risen through the center and is golden brown on top. Test the center for doneness by sticking a toothpick in to see if it comes out clean.
  • Remove the moist banana bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the baking pan for about 10 minutes. Once the bread has cooled, remove it carefully from the pan (the pan might still be warm!).
  • To prepare your cream cheese frosting, use a hand mixer or standing mixer to mix the powdered sugar, soft butter, and cream cheese together. Spread your frosting over your banana bread after it has cooled, top with sprinkles and enjoy!
