Easy Vegan Rice Crispy Treats
This nostalgic treat is super easy and so yummy! These vegan rice crispy treats are kid-friendly, buttery, and perfectly sweet!
Ingredients
Easy Vegan Rice Crispy Treats
- ½ cup melted vegan butter
- 2 10 ounce packs of vegan marshmellows
- 6 cup rice puff cereal
- ¼ cup melted vegan chocolate
Instructions
- Add the butter into a large saucepan and melt it on the stovetop on low heat. Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and melt, stirring frequently.
- After about 10 minutes, your marshmallows should be completely melted. Pour the rice crispy cereal into a large mixing bowl and pour the warm marshmallow mixture over the cereal. Mix until combined.
- Transfer the rice crispy mixture into a casserole dish and use your spoon or hands to press it in gently. Either cool in the fridge or on the countertop. Once cooled, cut into 12 pieces.
- They taste AMAZING alone and drizzled with melted vegan chocolate. Simply microwave vegan chocolate chips for about 1 minute in the microwave and drizzle over the cut treats.
