No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Cereal Bars

These no-bake cereal bars (or bark) are the a perfect sweet breakfast treat or on-the-go snack. You can make them in minutes, no baking necessary. You only need 4 ingredients to make these vegan and gluten-free, kid-friendly cereal bars that everyone will love!

No Bake Cereal Bars Ingredients

  • Cereal: In these no-bake chocolate peanut butter cereal bars or bark recipe, we use plain cereal. I went with Gluten-Free O’s from Love Bird.
  • Peanut Butter: Any creamy peanut butter will work in these no bake cereal bars
  • Brown Sugar or Maple Syrup: Use brown sugar, maple syrup, or to reduce the sugar in this recipe, use purecane brown sugar substitute!
  • Chocolate: Regular or vegan chocolates are used for the chocolate coating of the no bake cereal bars/bark
  • Sprinkles: Option to top your cereal bars/bark with regular or vegan sprinkles.

How To Make No-Bake Cereal Bars

Step 1: Add the cereal, purecane brown sugar, and peanut butter to a mixing bowl. Mix until completely combined.

Step 2: Line the baking dish with parchment paper and then transfer the peanut butter coated cereal into the baking dish. Use a spatula to press the cereal into the dish.

Step 3: Drizzle the melted vegan chocolate chips on top and then sprinkle sprinkles on top (if using). Refrigerate for one hour.

Step 4: After one hour, remove the dish from the fridge and use a knife to either cut into bars or break apart into what I call "Cheerios Bark".

  • 4 cups plain gluten-free cereal O's or any of your other favorite vegan or gluten-free cereal ensure they are gluten-free if needed
  • 4 tablespoon brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups melted vegan chocolate chips
