Vanilla Sprinkle Vegan Donuts
These fluffy vegan donuts melt in your mouth! They're healthier than a traditional donut because they're baked and not fried! They are a low-cal vegan treat that everyone will go "do-nuts" over! They're soft, tender, and super moist! When you top these tasty vegan donuts with delicious homemade vegan icing, you will feel like you're enjoying a bakery classic but for a fraction of the calories!
Ingredients
Vegan Vanilla Donuts
- 1 ¼ cup almond milk
- ¼ cup melted vegan butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour If gluten-free, I recommend King Arthur Measure for Measure gluten-free flour. Please don't substitute any other flour such as almond flour, baking flour, etc.
- 4 tablespoon vegan sprinkles
Vegan Vanilla Frosting
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoon almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Vanilla Sprinkle Vegan Donuts
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix the melted vegan butter, almond milk, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder and sugar. Mix in the flour until just combined.
- Pour batter into 14-16 greased donut molds and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- While the donuts are baking, mix frosting using a hand mixer.
- When donuts are done baking, remove them from the molds immediately and allow them to cool before frosting.
