Vegan Persian Food in Atlanta
Rumi's Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. They have several locations including Sandy Springs, Buckhead, and Alpharetta. They pride themselves on upscale Persian food prepared over their open fire grill. No matter what menu item you select, it's always made fresh with tons of love (and flavor)! My favorite dishes include the Vegetable Kabob (bottom right) which I enjoy as an entree. It has perfectly charred vegetables, grilled pineapple, and that famous saffron rice served with sumac to taste. My favorite vegan appetizers are their Falafel (top center), Mushroom Roasted (top left), and Mirza Ghasemi (a roasted eggplant dip, not pictured). It's always served with their homemade pita. I've also been known to cheat and take a bite of their insanely delicious Baklava (not pictured ... totally worth the non-vegan cheat!)
One of my favorite things about Rumi's Kitchen is the memories I've made with my family and friends while enjoying meals there. They make plant-based dining so easy and have tons of options for both vegans and non-vegans. My brothers got Chicken Kabobs which they found delicious, my mom had the Badenjoon (a beef stew), and my dad had the popular Chicken Barg. I was most impressed that my dad (who is a pizza and beer kind of guy) loved their adventurous dishes! After dinner, we enjoyed a round of Top Golf!
