Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store leftover chex mix?

1. Allow the Chex mix to cool completely at room temperature before storing to prevent condensation.
2. Transfer the mix to an airtight container or a resealable plastic bag.
Seal the container or bag tightly to prevent moisture from getting in, which can make the mix lose its crispness.

4. Consume it within a week or two for the best taste and texture.

Storing it properly in an airtight container will help maintain its freshness and crunchiness. Enjoy your Chex mix whenever you like!

This was a delicious fall recipe and so easy to make allergy friendly! I made a few substitutions..... I used gluten free cinnamon Chex, gorilla munch instead of corn Chex, gluten free pretzels instead of popcorn, and no walnuts but extra apple, and only 1T coconut sugar. I also found that at 6 minutes the freeze dried apples were burning, but it was a very good kid friendly, allergy friendly recipe.
