  • ¼ cup melted vegan butter or olive oil (regular or vegan butter)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 ¼ cup all-purpose flour (For a gluten-free version, opt for King Arthur Measure for Measure gluten-free flour. Avoid substituting with almond or other baking flours.)

  • 2 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil (regular or vegan butter)

DIY Everything Seasoning:

How To Make No-Yeast Everything Focaccia Bread

  1. Start by preheating your oven to a solid 400°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, ¼ cup melted vegan butter or olive oil, baking powder, salt (optional), and maple syrup. Gradually introduce the flour, mixing until you achieve a firm dough consistency.
  3. Grease an 8-10 inch round ceramic baking dish. Spread your dough evenly within the dish.
  4. Add character to your bread! Drizzle 2 tablespoons of melted vegan butter or olive oil atop the dough. Create that classic focaccia dimpling using your fingertips.
  5. Elegantly sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning over your dough. Let it bake to perfection for about 15-17 minutes. For a richer golden hue, broil briefly for a minute.
  6. Once baked, grace your bread with an extra drizzle of vegan butter or olive oil.

What size baking dish? That seems like an important bit of info, but I don’t see it anywhere. I don’t want it to be too thick or too thin!

Hi Dana, I just updated the recipe with the size baking dish I recommend. Thank you for pointing that out!

  4. Charlee says

I made this, admittedly with a different brand of gluten free plain flour and the texture came out very stiff and doughy. Does it come out like a normal bread fluffy texture with the King Arthur flour?

    • Jillian Glenn says

I am sorry to hear that! I have made this recipe with King Arthur's Gluten-Free Measure for Measure flour many times and it has always yielded great results.
