30 minute cinnamon rolls … dreams do come true! These vegan cinnamon rolls only use 7 ingredients and you won’t believe how easy they are to make. Simply whip up my easy 5 ingredient vegan cinnamon roll dough using one bowl. This will only take you a minute or two. The best part about this vegan cinnamon roll recipe … no rising! Skip straight to rolling the dough, spread with vegan butter, cinnamon and sugar, and roll. Bake them in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes and whip up some vegan cream cheese frosting while you wait. The frosting only needs 3 ingredients and trust me … it’s a mouth watering topping for these golden, buttery, cinnamon sugar treats!
This is a crowd pleasing recipe so don’t be surprised when you get requests to bake these again and again!
Here are a few tips:
If you’re not dairy free, you can use regular milk and butter in these.
My favorite vegan cream cheese and butter both come from a brand called Miyoko’s.
You can make gluten free cinnamon rolls by using gluten free all purpose flour in these.
My preferred gluten free flour for my gluten free cinnamon rolls is Cup4Cup.

1
Preheat the oven to 400
2
Mix the almond milk, melted vegan butter, and baking powder together. Then, mix in the flour until a thick dough forms.
3
Place the dough onto a floured surface and sprinkle the top with more flour. Use a floured rolling pin to roll the dough into a 1/4 inch thick slab. Spread with softened vegan butter, sprinkle with sugar, and cinnamon.
4
Carefully roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 10-12 pinwheels and place them into a greased round dish. Bake the cinnamon rolls for about 20 minutes. Option to broil for 1-2 minutes at the end to give them more color.
5
While the rolls are baking, you may use an electric hand mixer to mix the vegan cream cheese, softened butter, and powdered sugar to make the icing. Allow the rolls to cool before frosting. Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback, Ellen! Glad you enjoyed them! The dough is definitely sticky but you can sprinkle flour on top while rolling to make it easier to manage!
An incredible recipe! I have not had much success in baking but this recipe was easy to follow and the results were outstanding. Definitely a recipe I will be able to replicate time and time again.

Posted on: April 9, 2021If I am gluten free but not vegan, can I use regular cream cheese, butter etc.?
Worried about altering taste or consistency!

Posted on: April 9, 2021I found a successful tip Roll the dough out onto parchment/wax paper and then use the wax paper to roll the dough 100 times easier!
I also didn’t use a roller I my was too sticky I just use my hands and shaped it into a rectangular shape
